Caninae Genesis (2021) is a collaboration with Günbike Erdemir at Atelier Grotto, an initiative to work together in the basement atelier (2019 – 2021) of Mark Grootes. Caninae Genisis started from images of the artists childhood dogs and evolved into a fairytale of the origin of domestication and the connection and warmth between humans and dogs.
